P&P&Z – Chapter 2 Review

Proper manners, social drama, and then casual apocalypse in the background.

Mrs. Bennet being peak annoying while the world is literally ending is kind of the joke that keeps landing. Like ma’am…priorities.

And YES!! Mr. Bennet just strolling over to see Mr. Bingley as if there aren’t undead wandering the countryside is hilarious when you think about it. In a normal Austen setting it’s a polite visit. In this version it’s basically:

“Off to risk my life for social etiquette, dear.”

It’s one of those moments where the mashup really shines. The absurdity of old-school propriety surviving in a monster world.

I’m tiny bit secretly hoping zombies humble Mrs. Bennet at some point (not fully, just…a scare maybe).
