First off, Happy Valentine’s Day if you celebrate that!

So, I have my little Valentine’s in my S.O. and my child.

And just for good measure to make sure you know what day I’m referring to:

Aaaaaanyway! This book was advertised to me:

And my first thought was:

This looks absolutely dope!

So, I clicked on it! Which means the advert did its job and got me to interact with it instead of blinking, judging, passing, and continuing my doom scroll.

And, to my absolute delight, the cover art matches! So, it’s not one of those super cool ads with a meh cover!

And then….

I noticed this author’s name.

Now, fam, I’m not making fun or teasing or being mean or anything like that.

That’s either most unfortunate or a choice or worse, both.

Because now I have to decide: is this intentional camp brilliance…or accidental chaos?

Also, it feels semi homemade? If I’m honest? Because the author’s name looks slapped on and not in an aesthetically pleasing way.

Definitely still putting it on my to be bought list for future reading ventures.
