P&P&Z Chapter 8 Quick Thoughts

Chapter 8

Jane is still sick, and Lizzy is still tending to her at the Bingley’s house. The haughty Miss Bingley and Mrs. Hurst are gossiping as usual, and Mr. Bingley defends Jane and Elizabeth, which I find refreshing and endearing.

This is the scene where Mr. Darcy presents his list of his must-haves for a woman, and Elizabeth calls him out on it, and it’s just as delightful here as it is in the movie lol

Miss Bingley and Mrs. Hurst clutch their British pearls, and I find it hilarious. Mr. Darcy’s gasts are flabbered, and I find that also hilarious.

Overall, still ridiculous, still Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but still Pride and Prejudice.
